Jersey City Tourist Attractions
There are pleasant attractions in Jersey City if you have time at hand. Jersey City has its own thriving downtown and share of attractions. The Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island are a short distance off its coast. The waterfront Liberty Walk offers a panoramic postcard view of Manhattan.
Liberty State Park is a 1000 acre park with over 300 acres developed for public recreation. Located close to the Statue of Liberty, both the statue and Ellis Island are accessible from Liberty State Park. Ellis Island is home to the Ellis Island Immigration Museum that tells the story of immigrants.
The Liberty Science Center allows you to explore nature, technology and humanity at this museum which is located inside Liberty State Park. A great place for families, the center showcases inventions and the environment. Films at the museum’s IMAX Theater conclude visits here.
Spirit of New Jersey that takes off from Weehawken, NJ, is a ship that is part of the Spirit Cruise lines. You may enjoy a dinner cruise that includes dancing, entertainment, fabulous food and an amazing view of Liberty Park and the Manhattan Skyline
